LOWELL, Ark. - Johnnie Bryan Hunt Sr.'s kindness was as much a part of him as his business skills, friends and acquaintances recalled after his death Thursday at the age of 79.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. of Lowell announced Thursday the death of founder Johnnie Bryan Hunt Sr., 79, who had been injured in a fall at his home in Goshen on Saturday.

JB Hunt, the trucking mogul who founded his transport empire in Stuttgart, is in critical condition at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. According to a statement from the hospital, Hunt fell down sometime early this morning.
